Whats-your-reef.com is a senior project done by Sirusanant Yananissorn for CommDe, Chulalongkorn University. It is a website that visualizes the deterioration of coral reefs in Ao Thai Gulf and Andaman Sea of Thailand as affected by behaviors of humans in the past years from overfishing, overconsumption of plastic, and releasing waste into the ocean, leading up until 2020, as well as the possible methods of restoration for those vulnerable coral reefs. Users that participate in the journey will learn more about coral reefs through interactive activities as well as earn a personalized artificial coral as a commemorative token. The goal of the project is to increase awareness for reducing destructive behaviors that contribute to the health of our oceans and global warming.
