In this urbanization era, modern facilities play a major role in our city lives. Peoples’ routines have been changed and bounded by the need for ‘being convenient’, sometimes without us realising what we are actually doing or how we are actually living.
[urbanbound] is a series of patterns, using video collage, that will take the audience through visual repetition in endless looping forms, reflecting on those changes in three familiar aspects which are: commuting habits, food consumption habits, and living spaces. In order to provoke questions on the lives we are living these days.

This project presents a series of animated collage based on the notion of 'forbidden thoughts'. Forbidden thoughts is “dark impulses. None of us wants. Yet attempts to suppress them, can turn them into agents of harm.” Based on my observation and initial research, I found that when facing with uneasy situations, one tends to react according to what deem appropriate by the law of polite society. I believe that it is a natural way to do so in order to avoid being judged. Nevertheless, I also suspect that in conforming to the polite way, one has to suppress other not-sopolite urges to act differently. In other words, one negates the existence of 'forbidden thoughts’, because of the environment we live in, which is Bangkok.
‘นครเทพ The Series’ is designed to unleash these 'forbidden thoughts' and use them to comment on and raise awareness of certain social behaviors of Bangkok public in our everyday life. Even though, these behaviors can be harmful to oneself and/or others, no one seems to be bothered to pause and think twice about them.
What will happen if a person were live in a complete darkness without light for a day? This experimental project were initiated from those question. To prove the consequence effect, I had spending twenty four hours inside a solitary confinement. Which is a form of imprisonment torture in which an inmate is isolated from any human contact in a pitch black and soundproofed cell.
“Cage” is a simulation of my thought aiming to express my feeling and hallucination from the solitary confinement and visualizing those experiences into an interactive audio visual installation. To bring the audiences submerged in a deeply immersive space and feel both relieved and frustrated, based on the experiences I encountered.
series of photographs which questions the luxury of new high-rise buildings which are mushrooming all over Bangkok, and the tough lives of the workers who built them. The project is realized by juxtaposing images from advertisement of those high-rise buildings, especially their luxurious interiors, within photographs of building workers' temporary destitute shelters.
Communication & Product Design
Sans is designed to offer a new form of wooden 3D puzzle. In order to complete the puzzle, a player is challenged to arrange a set of twenty-four tetrahedra into the right order. Using a ʻmirror imageʼ as a key design strategy, one side of each tetrahedron will be coated with a reflective surface, only when being placed in the right position will the picture be perfectly formed. Five original images are purposefully designed to suit the first prototype. Sans can be played alone or with family and friends, a challenge to oneʼs visual-spatial intelligence.
This project addresses menstrual taboos in Thai Society. Menstruation is both a natural and beautiful process that constantly relates to women’s ability to procreate and the continual existence of humankind. Yet, in Thai society, as in many other societies and cultures, menstruation is perceived as an embarrassing, shameful and disgusting reality that should remain out of sight and out of mind. Any objects associated with menstruation should be hidden away and any conversations related to this subject should be avoided at all costs. This project seeks to shatter the stigma surrounding menstruation in Thai society by encouraging Thai people to embrace menstruation as a natural part of womanhood and to talk freely about it so that we may become more aware of our natural bodily functions.
This topic is difficult to tackle since there is not much discussion around the subject on a public level. Therefore, I decided to collect my own set of data by creating a cultural probe survey named “Your Voices” and inviting 100 Thai women to share their perceptions of menstruation. This set of complicated data, which covers the perceptions, experiences, opinions and beliefs related to menstruation, will be presented in a form that introduces an alternative viewpoint regarding the topic of menstruation through data visualization. Audience are encouraged to take part in making the voices heard by leaving their comments at the end of the exhibition.
