The project explores the complex and often polarizing nature of cancel culture through visual storytelling and printed media. Framed as a conceptual newspaper, the project challenges the binary narrative of “right” versus “wrong” by revealing the overlooked phases before and after cancellation episodes. Drawing from real-world case studies, it examines cancel culture’s dual role as a force for accountability and a tool for public shaming. Through speculative narratives and curated visuals, the project contrasts a progressive future—where open dialogue and justice coexist—with a regressive one shaped by extreme moral policing and societal fragmentation. By inviting audiences to reflect on their own roles within this cycle, the project questions the effectiveness of cancel culture as a tool for social change and its evolving moral standards. Rather than offering fixed solutions, it encourages critical reflection and conversation around the future of public accountability and collective behavior in digital & physical culture.
