One Hundred Wonders

In a society where academic success often takes center stage, children’s creativity can be left behind. One Hundred Wonders is a publication designed to remind parents of the importance of creative expression in a child’s development. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and Loris Malaguzzi’s poem “The Hundred Languages of Children,” this project explores how children make sense of the world through drawing, storytelling, play, and more. In exploring this topic, I found that many parents in Bangkok are unfamiliar with this approach and the value it brings. The publication shares these insights through four parts: illustrated interpretations of the poem, a showcase of children’s creative work, interviews with adults who work closely with children, and a guide to help parents support creativity at home. It encourages parents to offer space, freedom, and trust so children can express who they are in more than just words.
