Distilled Voices (คน–กลั่น–เล่า) is a documentary about Thailand’s community liquor distillers. It follows the lives of small-scale producers who make local white spirits using traditional methods. These people face many challenges, especially from strict government laws that limit what they can make and sell. The film shows how these rules affect their work, income, and ability to keep their culture alive. Told through real stories and interviews, the documentary uses the process of distilling alcohol as a way to explain the deeper struggles and resilience of these communities. Instead of giving direct solutions or taking sides, the film lets viewers hear directly from the people involved. This is a story about survival, tradition, and the quiet fight to be seen and heard.
