‘A Coastal City’ is an interactive platform that allows people to experience making decisions for the future of a coastal area as the authorities and see consequences of it. The whole scenario wants to communicate that the authority’s decision is powerful and can significantly affect the environment. Research and past incidents in Thailand support that most of the environmental issues are usually caused from poor management of the government. This coastal area is inspired by the story of Jana, Songkhla, which is going to be changed into an industrial estate unwillingly to benefit the authorities and investors.
