153 years later, denim is anything but ordinary.

153 DINNER: Art of the Unordinary Blue Jeans is an immersive dining installation that explores the cultural power and transformation of denim through food, flavor, and interaction. Inspired by rebellious subcultures; rock, hippie, punk, and hip-hop, each dish translates the identities, attitudes, and histories once carried through a pair of blue jeans.

Using food as a storytelling medium, the project invites audiences to reconsider denim beyond fashion: as a social language shaped by labor, rebellion, and self-expression. Just as ingredients can be transformed into countless forms, denim too changes meaning depending on who wears it, how it is altered, and the culture surrounding it.

In a time where fast fashion has made denim feel ordinary, 153 DINNER invites people to rediscover the stories, identities, and resistance woven into every pair of jeans.
