Welcome to TRACE, an institution dedicated to preserving artifacts from different timelines and worlds. Within the collection, you will glimpse alternative Thai future scenarios through a curated selection of found objects gathered across time.

This project explores alternative ways of imagining futures through Thai cultural lenses, challenging conventional science fiction narratives. While mainstream science fiction is often Western-centric, TRACE investigates how local contexts can create unique possibilities for speculative storytelling.

Presented as a collection of speculative artifacts, the project frames the future as open-ended rather than fixed. This approach encourages the audience to interpret and imagine diverse futures shaped by local beliefs and experiences, ultimately expanding science fiction to include more diverse voices and perspectives.
